National Treasure



Museums are national institutions filled with rich heritage and culture. Erected in 1937, with its large white marble and concrete walls, the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC is no exception. Filled with national relics from vibrant paintings to magnificent sculptures, the gallery exhibits our very culture and history through rendered masterpieces. From sketches by Leonardo da Vinci to Claude Monet’s water lilies, these galleries host an unlimited source of inspiration. Prying open the minds of creativity to all who visit . A place filled with history, culture, and unrelenting inspiration, that is a national treasure.

  1. I like your story and totally agree with you on this and it reminds me of an excursion to the Baltimore museum where I saw paintings of Rambrant, Picasso and Degas. The national gallery of art, Washington DC seems like an interesting place and hope to pay a visit there one of these days.

  3. I really like how you included citations and a picture, it made your blog seem very professional and easy to understand. I agree with Lok, I also like how you give examples of art displayed there. It helped to paint a vivid mental picture of this special place.

    Grammar could have been improved, there were some minor errors here and there. Other than that, I really enjoyed your work! It made me want to visit this place one day!

  5. Good job! I couldnt agree more on how beautiful and important museums are for a given society. The national gallery of art has always been a personal favorite of mine and always enjoyed how lucky we are to be so close to so many beautiful museums in the dc area.

  10. I know what you mean it is a national thresher. i been there my self several times, it is one my favorite places. I like how you described the gallery.
